Established in 1996, Secure Check was started in response to a need for improvements in background screening. With extensive experience in the security field with two major corporations, the founder, Tricia Smith, developed a cost-effective method of providing quick turnaround time for high volumes of criminal searches. This method opened the door for many companies to make pre-employment screening part of the employment process.

Present

Continuing to meet the growing need for thorough and extensive background screening, Smith opened the first full-service background screening centers in the State of Ohio. Secure Check offers both electronic fingerprinting and drug testing at these centers - in addition to the full array of other screening services. Secure Check clients include schools, daycare centers, retail companies, janitorial services, trucking companies, temporary staffing agencies, recruiting firms, housing providers, distribution centers, aviation companies, manufacturing companies, nursing homes, accounting firms, law firms, and state agencies.

Future

Through its partnership with the industrialist Joseph Tauscher and the Checkpast Companies, Secure Check is continuing to build its network of screening centers to conveniently meet the screening needs of employers throughout the state and nationwide.
